Bright

I wasn’t really expecting much from this movie. The storyline put up online was discouraging so i didn’t even take the time to see the trailer but boy o boy do I regret not seeing this movie first thing in this Year. Amazing. Even though it starts sceptically, I believe it deserves an award for being original.
In an alternate present day, humans, orcs, elves and fairies have been coexisting since the beginning of time. Two police officers, one a human, the other an orc, embark on a routine night patrol that will alter the future of their world as they know it. Battling both their own personal differences as well as an onslaught of enemies, they must work together to protect a young female elf and a thought-to-be-forgotten relic, which, in the wrong hands, could destroy everything. – Wikipedia

Captain Underpants

OMG… This is the most hilarious.  I loved reading Captain underpants as a kid and finally I got to watch the movie. So happy and so funny. I loved it. The best ever. You gotta watch it. This is the best movie for a family movie night on Sunday.

George Beard and Harold Huthins are two overly imaginative pranksters who spend hours in a treehouse creating comic books. When their mean Principal threatens to seperate them into different classes, the mischievous boys accidentally hypnotize him into thinking that he’s a ridiculously enthusiastic, incredibly dimwitted superhero called Captain Underpants. – Wikipedia

Healer

The healer is one movie that was extremely impactful on my emotions. Get ready to cry and laugh all at once.

A young man leading a troubled life and managing a collapsing business is poached by an enstranged uncle who decides to pay off his debts only if he agrees to his deal of moving to Canada. In Canada, a rumor runs around him of being a healer. All you had to do was meet him or talk to him and you were healed. But what happens when he decides this is not a gift for him.

A young man discovers suddenly to have the gift of healing. Trying to understand it and the new reality that it offers, a teenage girl with terminal cancer unexpectedly will show him the way. – IMDB

Kingsman: The Golden Circle

The Kingsman never fails to amaze me. It makes you wish you were a Kingsman. Being a Kingsfan, even though this wasn’t progressive, it still doesn’t loose it’s humour especially with their cousins from the south.

After the death of Gallagher senior. The Kingsman seem to be handling themselves fine, as always. Gallagher junior steps out of the Kingsman shop all suited up but when Charlie, a rejected Kingsman appears asking for a ride, everything starts to go south.

With their headquarters destroyed and the world held hostage, members of Kingsman find new allies when they discover a spy organization in the United States known as Statesman. In an adventure that tests their strength and wits, the elite secret agents from both sides of the pond band together to battle a ruthless enemy and save the day, something that’s becoming a bit of a habit for Eggsy. – Wikipedia.

Valerian and a City of a Thousand Planets.

OMG… perfect. Wow. This movie had me saying this phrase at every scene.

Alpha Intergalactic Space Station reaches a critical mass in orbit, it’s weight and suze starts to pose a serious threat to Earth so the space station is released from tge Earth’s gravity and it’s course is the Magellan Current.

Humans due to war destroy a planet and only a few of the species survive anf they are out to revive their world at the cost of Human’s secrets being exposed.

American Assassin.

Wow. This is my first Vince Flynn book I read. The movie cut out some parts but was still EPIC.

Mitch is on a holiday with his girlfriend ans he proposes to her on the beach. After the proposal, armed men start shooting at the tourist and Mitch’s girlfriend is killed and Mitch is hurt. Fueled by rage and revenge, Mitch sets out to kill the people behing the shoot out.

Kidnap

This movie caught me by suprise when I first watched the trailer… Though I wasn’t expecting it to be one-sided… After watching the movie, I was a bit disappointed. I belive it could have been made better though the storyline is good. Though every mother has gone through the worries of loosing their children at a crowded space, this was as real as it could be.

A typical afternoon in the park turns into a nightmare for single mother Karla Dyson when kidnappers snatch her young son Farnkie. With no cellphone and no time to wait for police, Dyson jumps into her car to follow the vehicle that holds her son. As the pursuit turns into a frantic high speed chase, Karla must risk everything and push herself to the limit to save her beloved son.
